Uduak Nasara-Danmallam

Uduak is a partner at Steelgate Legal Advisory. She graduated from the University of Jos in 2006 and the Nigerian Law School in 2007 with a Second-Class Upper Division respectively and was the recipient of several academic achievement awards. She was called to the Nigerian Bar in November 2007. She obtained her Master’s Degree (LL.M) in Energy, Environment and Natural Resources Law from the prestigious University of Houston Law Centre, in 2017 where she graduated amongst the top percentile.
Uduak started her practice as State Counsel in the Ministry of Justice, Ogun State while on national service Nigeria and proceeded to join other full-service business law firms in Nigeria. She later joined the Corporate Counsel (Company Secretariat) Access Bank Plc, Nigeria’s leading commercial bank where she worked within a team to provide support to the Board of Directors of the Bank, and direction to the company secretariats of the Bank’s seven (7) subsidiaries. She also supervised the Investor Relations Unit of the Bank.
Uduak has negotiated several transactions and prepared legal documents to that effect. She is vast in corporate and commercial law practice and consultancy, contract negotiation, intellectual property, legal drafting and documentation, company secretarial and corporate governance advisory services. She is an accredited Corporate Legal Practitioner with the Corporate Affairs Commission and the Nigerian Intellectual Property Registry. Uduak is currently a Member of the Nigerian Bar Association, Association of International Petroleum Negotiators (AIPN), International Bar Association (IBA). She has attended several courses and conferences locally and internationally.
