Marx, was a 2018 recipient of the ESQ Nigerian Legal awards 40 under 40 category for young lawyers shaping the legal profession. He has grown from a background in dispute resolution and corporate/commercial practice and now works extensively in the fields of arbitration, ICT/Technology law and Intellectual Property.
Marx is a facilitator on the annual “Information Technology and The Law” course of the Nigerian Institute of Advanced Legal Studies since 2016. He has trained in advanced Intellectual Property Courses at the World Intellectual Property Organization Academy and he is an accredited agent of the Nigerian Trademark and Patents Registry and has conducted IP Registration business there since 2010.
He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK). He seats on the panel of neutrals of the Lagos Court of Arbitration and the Federal High Court of Nigeria ADR Centre. He is a member of the International Bar Association (IBA) where he acts as National Representative of the IBA Young Lawyers Committee.
